The way to paragliding in pictures

The paraglider training begins on a hill. Getting a perfect starting and landing technique is the goal.

Licensed flight instructors will teach you the basics of free flying on the training hill.
After four days on the hill you are ready and safe. Now it's time for the big stuff: high-altitude flights!
High-altitude flight training will take place in the region of Central Switzerland.
In briefings before and after flying you get the necessary basics of paragliding, meteo etc.
You'll experience impressive moments in our varied flying sites in Central Switzerland.
During around four flights a day you learn quickly and get better. Once you 're ready, you pass a simple test.
The easiest way to fly: it dosen't take long and you will be a paraglider with the necessary license. The sky is yours!

One Goal

After the trial day you have decided: you want to paraglide and you want to do it with paraworld.ch in Zurich or Lucerne! We will train and accompany you from the start to the license and beyond.

Our complete package addresses those who definitely want to paraglide. If you are unsure whether paragliding really is your thing, we recommend booking just the basic training for the time being. In a second step you can book the high-flights separately.

If you want everything included, we recommend the complete package. It offers 18 months of time for your training and unlimited high-flights depending on what you want and what you need.

Fast students who achieve their licence within 9 months receive a CHF 500.- voucher from paraworld.ch.

  • we calculate from the registration date at paraworld.ch until the date of the licence stamp
  • cancellations due to bad weather, private trips etc. can't be considered

 

When and Where

Training Days

  • high-flights take place 6 days a week; every day except Tuesday
  • reduced from November to February; Friday to Monday

 

Our Sites

Most of our training sites are located around Lake Lucerne in Central Switzerland. All Sites are reachable by public services. We offer a shuttle bus to bring you from the Shop in Lucerne (CHF 10, only Weekends) and in Zurich (CHF 20 runs daily) to the site and back. On our website you can sign in for the shuttle bus or find / offer a ride.
