The team in its element: traveling and flying, discovering new things! The team week in Madeira was both relaxing and inspiring. The Atlantic island showed us its most beautiful side.
Madeira, a gem in the middle of the Atlantic, is the perfect playground for passionate paragliders in the Swiss winter. To recharge our team batteries before the coming season, we headed to the island this year. The stable climate, the unique landscape and the variety of flying options provided us with the perfect backdrop for impressive experiences on and above the ground.
The island's cuisine, which was based on meat and fish, provided the energy needed for hours of flying along one of the highest cliffs in Europe and high above the banana groves on the island's flanks. The most impressive experience was the flight above uninhabited and rugged cliffs that dropped steeply into the wild Atlantic. Lightly carried only by the condensation energy beneath the trade wind clouds. Local beer, good rum and Madeira wine rounded off the days of flying.
The real highlight of the week was our whole team and the time we spent together! Many thanks to all our pilots, the time on the island was amazing and we are already looking forward to the next trip!
