Review of a fantastically good and varied paragliding trip to the Julian Alps!
Slovenia, the small country at the eastern end of the Alps, once again offered us a beautiful and varied week. We were greeted with perfect southerly winds, unstable air and excellent conditions for Lijak, which is located along the route. After the long drive across the Po Valley, this was a very warm welcome!
The following days we were able to get to know almost all wind directions and therefore various launch sites. Lijak, Matajur, Kobala and Stol in good to very good conditions, the full Slovenia program on seven out of seven days! Most of the pilots in our group flew their personal records - whether long, high or far - in the XC region, which is also suitable for beginners.
And the foodies didn't miss out either! After the last landings, with the sun slowly setting, we set off evening after evening on culinary journeys in the trendy restaurants.
As a result, our mood was at an all-time high throughout the week, and we landed very softly at the end of the week with a weary melancholy and a very generously filled bag full of experiences.
Many thanks to all of you, we really enjoyed our time with you in Slovenia and look forward to our next trip with you!
