The Hasenmatt is located on a hill to the west of the Weissenstein. While the Weissenstein can be easily reached by train and is frequented by many paragliders on good Jura days, the Hasenmatt can be reached on foot.

Takeoff
You can start on a beautiful, moderately steep meadow, right next to the summit cross. The starting conditions are easy in light winds. Be careful in northerly winds and westerly winds. The house thermal is usually located immediately to the right of the launch site.
Landing
The official landing site is at the Weissenstein flying area in Oberdorf. You can also take the train to Weissenstein for a second flight without hiking.
Attention
Bise and westerly winds make the start difficult and, depending on the wind strength, even dangerous.
